200 Degrees to create more jobs in the East Midlands with a new venue
Some 12 jobs have been created before East Midlands-based coffee roaster 200 Degrees opens the doors to its new Derby cafe in Derbion shopping center on Saturday 19 November.
Installed next to the Boots on the ground floor of Derbion, the new café can accommodate more than 60 people.
The new Derby cafe is the roaster’s 18th in England and Wales and seventh in the East Midlands; with stores in Lincoln, Leicester, Nottingham and McArthur Glen East Midlands Designer Outlet.
The opening follows a successful and busy year for 200 Degrees, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last month (October) and recently launched its new recyclable packaging and introduced recyclable coffee pods.
Rob Darby, CEO of 200 Degrees, said: “We are delighted with the opening of our new store in Derby. We’ve wanted to move here for some time, being based in the East Midlands, and Derbion is the perfect place.
“Looking back to where the 200 degree journey began, I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished together and grateful to our loyal customers.
“Every new store opening is like a huge win, and I’m thrilled with the effort and hard work of the team. We look forward to serving our coffee to the Derby community! »
