80 degree heat rolls up | WTTV CBS4Indy

We are in the hottest weekend for over 9 months! The temperature on Saturday afternoon rose to 83 ° in Indianapolis. We’re going up to the mid-80s tomorrow afternoon. This will make this weekend the hottest since August 17 and 18 when temperatures reach 83 ° and 91 ° respectively.
The rest of Saturday night will be hot and dry. The skies will remain partly cloudy and temperatures will drop to the lows and mid-1970s late this evening.

Sunday will come with a few more clouds as the high pressure slowly begins to move away from the area. A few isolated showers will be possible tomorrow afternoon and evening. However, most will remain completely dry throughout the day. If you are heading to the trail for Pole Day, be prepared for it to be quite hot and rather humid.

Our weather regime will begin to deteriorate early next week as our jet stream begins to return to a more zonal flow. As it does, chances of rain will be on the rise with showers and storms returning in the forecast by the middle of the week.
