HONG KONG, March 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Allite International Limited (AIL) and Polytechnic University of Hong Kong (PolyU) have announced the establishment of R&D work in a number of research projects to further explore the horizon of application of Allite Super Magnesium (ASM) alloy. This initiative aims to discover the development of advanced magnesium-based materials for the manufacture of neat shapes, including, among others, metal foams and composites, new bonding systems for assembly, welding, engineering of surface and non-destructive quality inspection. This collaborative effort will also provide differentiating research and development in the field of electronic transportation, such as electric vehicles, electric bicycles and other products.

These R&D activities coincide with that of Hong Kong commitment to developing a more comprehensive and sustainable innovation and technology ecosystem to achieve reindustrialization in hong kongby exploiting opportunities globally, including in the Greater Bay Area.
