The forecast for Chicago calls for perfect weather throughout the weekend for outdoor activities with lots of sunshine and low humidity.

While the current temperature is 80 degrees today, it will be slightly warmer at 82 degrees tomorrow. Expect the mid 80s on Sunday with mostly sunny skies.

Monday presents the next chance for a thunderstorm as humidity and heat will build up to 88 degrees.

Tuesday will be calm with mostly sunny skies and little chance of rain before temperatures spike Wednesday with a high of 92 degrees.

Thursday comes with a chance of thunderstorms which would be followed by a break from the intense heat. The temperature will drop from 89 degrees on Thursday to 84 degrees on Friday, Fox 32 reports.

Outdoor activities and air quality

Allergens are low for the day. However, moderate grass pollen is detected in Chicago and those affected are advised to stay behind closed doors and windows. Today’s weather has a low impact on health issues such as arthritis, sinus pressure, colds, flu, and migraines.

Residents will finally be able to spend their time outdoors as the weather is ideal for fishing and swimming, whether on the beach or at the pool. The weather is also ideal for activities such as hiking, running, golfing, biking, and nighttime stargazing. Air and road travel will also be seamless.

However, residents should beware of mosquitoes and outdoor and indoor pests. As some areas will be hot and humid, residents are advised to be on their guard as mosquitoes, among other pests, are rampant and thrive in very humid and hot areas, AccuWeather reports.
