// Where we are arrested
UC kicked off the 2021 season two weeks ago at the Butler Twilight Invite. Both teams have had an excellent start to the season, with the men’s team placing first in the 6km event and the women’s team placing third in the 5km event.

Alec sandusky took first place in the men’s 6km with a time of 17: 42.0, followed by four more Bearcats in the top ten, including Tyler wirth, Jon Harley, Toni Banos, and Ryan pehlman.

In the women’s 5 km, Ellie in leather was the top finisher on the UC team with a time of 17: 51.0 for fifth place. Maddie walker finished in 8e up, scoring over ten top points for UC.

// WHAT TO EXPECT

The Bearcats won’t field their entire teams this weekend, but still expect a competitive performance at Cedarville. Each team will face five athletes.

It will be a bigger competition compared to the previous race, with schools from all over Ohio attending, including Miami (OH) and Ohio University.
