Revamped Benefits Program Removes Financial Barriers for Associates and Helps Fill Critical Jobs
BOSTON, June 21, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–OhioHealth recently announced an expanded education benefits program to help remove financial barriers for more than 30,000 full-time and part-time associates. Developed in collaboration with Bright Horizons EdAssistOhioHealth’s revamped program aims to provide opportunities for current and potential associates to learn the skills and credentials needed to fill the region’s most in-demand health care jobs, including medical assistants and technicians, respiratory therapists and nurses.
In addition to annual tuition reimbursements of up to $5,250 available to all full-time and part-time workers, OhioHealth covers initial education costs, including textbooks and fees, which means little or no disbursements for the partners. Additionally, associates are immediately eligible to participate in the educational benefits program on their first day of employment with OhioHealth.
