Temperature variation of over 30 degrees, snow on the way to the Colorado

Collect your candy, because this year Halloween is going to be freezing cold.
Saturday will be the last chance for dry weather and temperatures reaching the mid-60s and 70s, for at least the next few days in Colorado, according to a forecast from Opennow.com.
The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that some areas will experience a difference of about 30 degrees between Saturday and Sunday evening.
In Denver, temperatures are expected to drop from 65 degrees Saturday to 33 degrees Sunday night, according to the service.
Colorado Springs will likely experience a similar drop from 70 degrees on Saturday to 34 degrees on Sunday night.
Here’s a breakdown of what the weather might look like in many parts of the state on Halloween, according to NWS.
Aspen: A slight risk of rain showers before 11 p.m. Low around 36 degrees.
Breckenridge: Risk of rain and snow after 3 p.m. Wind of 11 MPH possible. Low around 27 degrees.
Rock: 20 percent chance of rain and snow in the afternoon. Low around 31 degrees.
Buena vista: Partly sunny, and a slight risk of drizzle before 11pm. Low around 33 degrees.
Colorado Sources: Mainly cloudy with 10 MPH southeasterly wind. Low around 34 degrees.
Crested mound: Partly sunny with winds of 10-15 MPH. A slight risk of rain and snow after 7 p.m. Low around 25 degrees.
Denver: Cloudy with 20 percent chance of precipitation. Low around 33 degrees.
Durango: Quite sunny. Low around 34 degrees.
Fort-Collins: Risk of rain and snow before 2 p.m., then rain. Low around 31 degrees.
Great crossroads: Rather cloudy, with winds of 10 MPH. low around 41 degrees.
Steamship sources: Scattered showers throughout the day, and thunderstorms after 3pm. Low around 32 degrees.
Telluride: Partly sunny with winds of 15 MPH. Low around 33 degrees.
Vail: Isolated showers in the afternoon, with winds of 15 MPH. Low around 32 degrees.

Snow accumulations this weekend will likely be minimal, but Opensnow.com reports the mountains near and north of Interstate 70 could potentially see more than 10 inches of snow over the next week.
