The model call for Culture Couture goes online… online

The Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education, Fulbright Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and RSO DIYA are hosting Culture Couture Goes On…line!, a pre-recorded virtual fashion show, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12. Culture Couture is a beautiful, inspiring, and powerful multicultural celebration that showcases fashion and music from a variety of cultures within the University of Arkansas campus community.
Before the pandemic hit, DIYA and its partner RSOs, with the help of the Multicultural Center, hosted Culture in the International Connections Lounge, and now it’s going virtual.
The show will feature a combination of interviews, photos and parades from some of the University’s best and brightest undergraduate and graduate students. This event aims to highlight and celebrate the diversity of cultures, bodies [looks, shapes, sizes]experiences and expressions that represent the University of Arkansas campus community.
Culture Couture is calling for 25 students to share their couture looks by participating as models in the fashion show.
Students, the culture you wish to express, showcase and showcase for the show is up to you, so express the best of you and your culture. To register to participate as a model, please click here to register. The deadline to register is March 7 at 11:59 p.m.
