Zurich is now hiring for a new license apprenticeship
Those with 2 years of college can now get paid for the second half while earning a full-time salary and growing professionally in Zurich’s apprenticeship program.
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., September 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Zürich North America posted vacancies for its new bachelor’s degree apprenticeship, an addition to the pioneering associate degree apprenticeships the insurance provider began offering in the United States in 2016. The expansion comes just weeks after the department American Labor selected Zürich as a National Learning Ambassador.
The new bachelor’s degree apprenticeship program is designed for individuals who have completed two years of college coursework or an associate’s degree. The program allows them to complete a bachelor’s degree while starting a career with Zürichwhich is on lists such as Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies and Forbes’ Best Diversity Employers. Zürich pays for the remaining two years of college courses for apprentices, taken online via the University of Arizona Global Campus. Apprentices have eight hours per week set aside for academics and work 32 hours per week at Zürichearn a full-time salary and benefits while learning in-demand skills.

Zurich’s bachelor’s degree apprenticeships are available in a range of business areas and functions, such as finance, accounting and reporting; Strategy, innovation and business development; Information Security; Claims and more. Apprentices have on-the-job coaches, access to mentors, and the opportunity to grow professionally through practice and observation.
Hiring for undergraduate positions will continue through November, with the first class beginning their studies and working at Zürich in January. The program lasts two years. At the finish line, apprentices not only earn a diploma, but also a promotion into their next role at Zürich and a Registered Apprentice Certificate from the US Department of Labor.
